Meridian
Management Group, LLC, is an Underwriting Management Company for Travel
Insurance and Special Risk Products for and on the behalf of Direct
Insurance relationships. Formed in 1999, Meridian is a wholly owned
subsidiary of Equinox Management Group, Inc., a prestigious Reinsurance
Underwriting Management Company with over 10 years of experience in Travel
Insurance, Personal Accident and Special Risk Markets.
The goal of
Meridian is to live true to our mission statement: “To Represent our
Business Partners with the Highest Degree of Underwriting, Service, and
Integrity in the Travel and Leisure Insurance and Related Specialty Markets”
by developing and managing innovative insurance products for the Travel and
Special Risk Markets.
Meridian is
able to provide a variety of services and expertise to both
insurers and producers. Some of those services include: creative
product design, underwriting, rate and policy language development, policy
filing and compliance support. We work with producers to distribute
these innovative products. We also contract with several specialized
claims administrators and assistance service providers so our clients
receive the professional service they require. These relationships and
our expertise assure our business partners a flexible and competitive
product within the marketplace.
